At VSSL UNION (pronounced “vessel”), we believe that every person is a vessel — for growth, service, and connection. What started as a vision is now becoming a reality: a space rooted in aloha where people can train hard, move intentionally, and grow together.

We’re not just opening another jiu-jitsu gym.
We’re building a sanctuary — for you, for your family, and for the community.

📍 Our New Home in Honolulu

We’ve officially secured a 2,069 sq ft space at Hale Mahana, located on the corner of University and King Street in Honolulu. With accessible parking in the back and easy directions from all over town, this space is the perfect foundation to build something bold, inclusive, and full of intention.

Imagine walking into a space where energy is high, the spirit is welcoming, and everyone is there to support each other’s journey.

VSSL UNION will offer far more than just training. It’s a multi-dimensional space for learning, healing, and gathering.

Here’s what’s coming:

  • Daily Jiu-Jitsu classes for all experience levels

  • Kids Jiu-Jitsu classes held three times per week

  • Yoga classes designed for athletes, creatives, and everyday movers

  • Breathwork & mindfulness sessions to enhance recovery, focus, and emotional balance

  • Weekend seminars with guest instructors and specialists

  • Community events to build connection on and off the mat

  • Retail space featuring VSSL gear and collaborations with local artists

  • Lounge area to connect, reflect, or just rest after class

  • Drink bar offering hydration and wellness boosters post-training

Everything we do is intentionally designed to honor local culture, empower people through movement, and celebrate the spirit of aloha.
